Some rappers are well known for their cultural influence, their lyricism, or their iconic beats. Still, other rappers are known for their crazy personalities, and there’s perhaps no one that fits the bill better than Trippie Redd.

Redd is an American rapper who became one of the most prominent members of the SoundCloud music scene, which gained a ton of mainstream attention in the 2010s. He’s perhaps best known for the song “Love Scars” on his debut 2017 mixtape, A Love Letter to You. You might also know him from his three studio albums that all reached the top five of the Billboard Top 100: Life’s a Trip, !, and Pegasus.

Or, you might know him because of his iconic style. His red dreads, tattooed face, and golden grills make him easily recognizable. His stunning jewelry collection makes him even easier to spot in a crowd.

Let’s take a look at his crazy jewelry collection so you can gain some inspiration for crafting your own signature style.

Crash Bandicoot Chain

Everyone has that video game from their childhood that reminds them of a simpler time. While these are nothing but a memory for most of us, Trippie Redd memorialized the love of his favorite childhood game by dropping upwards of $500,000 on a custom pendant.

Of course, it’s a direct replica of the UKA UKA mask popularized in the classic video game Crash Bandicoot. This is a highly detailed piece that contains over 20,000 pure diamonds, boasting over 210 carats of VVS clarity stones in white, yellow, and rose gold. The whole thing is accented with a wood finish. And yep… the mask can even play music.

It’s unlike anything we’ve ever seen (or heard). Even though it might be pretty impossible to replicate this replica in the same way that jeweler AB Golds was able to do for Redd, you can still make a kitschy custom pendant that suits your style.

Custom pendants are a great way to symbolize something that means a lot to you, like a lover or a catchphrase. Or, you can just use them to have some fun like Redd.

Either way, you have full control over the look and style of your piece with 6 Ice. Check out our custom pendant templates here to get started on your very own one-of-a-kind, trendsetting pendant.

Spiked 8 Ball Chain

The eight ball is a powerful tool in the game of pool, but it’s also one of the most dangerous. With one turn, you can either win or lose the entire game. Trippie Redd represented his love of taking risks and setting trends by getting his very own custom spiked 8-ball pendant.

This giant, spherical pendant depicts a diamond-studded magic 8-ball with huge spikes coming out the sides. It takes the classic 8-ball to a whole new level and adds a bit of Redd flare that we know and love. And don’t worry — the spikes are shrouded in gemstones too.

While this piece might prick you a bit if you wear it for too long, it’s definitely a statement piece that’s hard to ignore. Our Iced Panda Pendant has a similar color scheme that’s just as quirky and kitschy as Redd’s 8-ball piece, giving you the ability to make waves in the same exact way.

Clock Chain

When most rappers need to keep track of time, they throw on a diamond-studded watch and call it a day. Trippie Redd likes to work outside of the typical boundaries, and his custom Clock pendant does just that.

This piece was custom-made to celebrate his debut album, Life’s a Trip, and it was commissioned by Eden and Izzy at NYC luxury designers. It cost him a whopping $200k, but we can’t say it wasn’t worth it based on the detail and size of this piece.

It’s an evil-looking close with red eyes, holding a bloodied scythe (and the scythe is even holding another scythe). It’s a piece that only Trippie Redd could pull off — and he does so in style.

If you want a more convenient way to be able to keep track of time, an iced-out watch should be a staple of your jewelry collection. Our Rocketeer Collection is versatile and sleek, giving you the ability to pick and choose a style that works for you.

Want something more nuanced and professional? This Iced Bezel with a Black Dial is the go-to. Looking for something more suited for a night out? Go with the blue dial watch instead. The possibilities are endless.

Skeleton Choker

Trippie Redd has an affinity for the creepy, scary, and sinister. You can hear this in his music, but you can also see it in his jewelry. It’s especially clear when you take a look at his diamond skeleton choker.

This piece depicts a skeleton laying horizontally across his neck. It’s got glowing, red eyes surrounded by pure diamonds on the rest of the entire body. It’s a unique piece that’s perfect for Halloween, though Redd seems to wear it pretty much all the time.

If you want to show off your dark side in a similar way, our Skull Pendant in white gold can help you out. This is a detailed diamond skull that’s the perfect addition to a costume, but it’s also subtle enough to be worn with any outfit for any occasion. To create a cohesive look, match your pendant to a white gold ring

Blood Moon Pendant

Trippie Redd took blood moons a little bit too literally when he commissioned a new blood moon pendant. This piece features a diamond-studded crescent moon with an eerie smile that’s, of course, dripping with blood.

It’s just another piece that seems to fit perfectly into Trippie Redd’s collection of macabre and uncomfortable. We’re not sure exactly how much he spent on this piece, but considering it also hangs from a solid diamond tennis chain, it probably wasn’t cheap.

The chain that your pendant is attached to is just as important as the pendant itself. And the good news is that 6 Ice’s collection of high-quality chains is locked and loaded with seemingly endless styles and variations.

https://6ixice.com/collections/chains-worldwide-shipping-lifetime-guarantee/products/5mm-round-cut-diamond-tennis-chain-white-gold

For a diamond tennis chain that looks just like Redd’s, we’ve got a 5mm round cut piece to match. If you’re looking for something a little bolder, this 19mm diamond prong Cuban chain is the move.

Go Bold

Trippie Redd is only seeing gold when it comes to his jewelry collection. His unique, sinister style is reflected in his macabre pieces that are nothing short of bold and brazen. And while it’s hard to replicate a master of his craft, there are ways that you can get close.

6 Ice is the purveyor of high-quality hip hop jewelry. We have hundreds of chains, bracelets, pendants, and rings to help you achieve the same type of look at Trippie Redd. However, our custom templates give you full freedom to create something of your very own.

The only wrong way to wear jewelry is by wearing none at all. Start building your collection today to stay amping up your outfits tomorrow.
